28 Days
This collection of 28 paintings is a personal exploration of my hormonal cycle and how it affects my mood, body and personality on a daily basis during one month. Each painting was created within one day and on the exact day of my cycle in order to create a visual response and to reflect the mood I was feeling on that particular day.

(photographs Day 1- 7) An egg is featured in each canvas to show how it travels through the womb. If unfertilised it leaves the body. Meanwhile a new eg is already preparing to be released for the cycle to begin again. During days 1-7 menstruation begins and creativity returns. Please click image to enlarge. Day 1
